Leftover 32-bit cruft on Mac

In an effort to avpoid issues upgrading to Catalina where all apps must be 64-bit I find through two programs that there are 30 or so Adobe files that are not 64-bit. Some of these actually have app as an extension. Included are 7 instances of Setup.app. I am tempted to delete these entirely but don't want to go through some reinstall issues after the OS update. Included are Adobe Help.app v3.0.0.400 and Adobe Application Manager v10.0.49.

If this is too advanced for this forum point the way please.

For best results, uninstall 32-bit apps and use the Adobe Cleaner tool to remove residual files from your system BEFORE upgrading to Catalina.

Thanks so much for this info. I thought there might be this sort of tool but wasn't able to find it through searching the site.

That merely uninstalls the apps themselves but still leaves quite a number of “apps" such as 7 versions of Setup.app along with some with AAM prefix. Nearly 20 of these. Living in various Library folders.

Given that it seems no one is having troubles with these in Catalina maybe it’s won’t cause me issues. But that’s a lot of orphans and useless files taking up space.

Ideas anyone?
