Question

Legacy Design Suite activation

I'm the original owner of a store bought Design Suite 5.5. (I use CC for my main). I have an old laptop that won't run CC and tried to load my old DS. I can't install due to 2 loads. I have the original PC that DS is still installed on however when I try to deactivate I get a message to connect to the internet. I can receive updates and am online. I know this is a ridiculous ask as its so old but its legit software and I'd like to use it. Any advice or workaround would be appreciated.

P.S please forgive of this is the wrong forum for this post.

TLS 1.2 is now required to connect https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/eol-tls-support.html
-If you have Windows 7 be sure to do the EASYFIX.MSI in step 2 of the above link
-test your browser https://clienttest.ssllabs.com:8443/ssltest/viewMyClient.html

Maybe it's a firewall setting. I remember that was a rather common problem back in the day, some people couldn't activate or deactivate even when they were otherwise online. Maybe you can even find the old help documents if you do a search.

Perhaps,  its an old pc that was in storage. One of these suggestions will likely work.
