License Reset

Hi,

 

I have a customer who needs to factory reset his laptop and has purchased an Adobe License. The Machine was possibly infected by Malware as it has become sluggish. Can he still use the same license on the same machine if he does a factory reset or reinstall of Windows?

 

Should he make the request with this license?

    if it's perpetual license, he needs to deactivate (using a computer that can connect with adobe's secure servers) before resetting.

     

    among other things they should update their os and default browser.
