license says maximum reached even though deactivated on other computer

I tried to install Adobe CS6 Production Premium on a new computer and it told me that the license has reached the maximum number of uses. One of my old computers will not turn on so I can not deactivate it on that one. I deactivated it on my laptop and now it won't work on either my laptop or my new desktop. I tried uninstalling it on the laoptop and reinstalling it on the desktop and it still will not work. Adobe online chat support says they can't help me. What can I do?

    Connect to Adobe online support and say that you just want to get your activation count reset. Don't ask or say anything else, in which case they can refuse to help with an old unsupported version.

    Connect to Adobe online support and say that you just want to get your activation count reset. Don't ask or say anything else, in which case they can refuse to help with an old unsupported version.

    contact adobe support and ask for an "activation count reset ".  there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter:

    chat:
    use a browser that allows popups and cookies
    and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
    in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
    be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

    p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-community/td-p/12919684/redirect_from_archived_page/true
