Licensing question for font purchases

An employee who no longer works at my company purchased several font user licenses from adobe.com several years ago, and we have very little documentation regarding the purchases. Although the receipt says we can access the order details from his account, according to Adobe customer care, his email address (which our IT admin. gave me access to) is not registered with adobe.com. It's fallen to me to sort out the licensing, and all attempts to get licensing information via Adobe customer care have been most unproductive. What I want to determine is how many user licenses were purchased and what the license agreement was for the items purchased. Is there any way to get that information, or can I assume that since Adobe closed the account and is not helping me with my questions that we can simply use the fonts as we wish to without worrying about the licensing details?
