Lightroom 6 – Activation Reset / Download Request

Hello,

My Adobe Lightroom 6 license (serial number ending in 7527) is registered to my account, but I can’t reinstall or activate it on my new computer. The system reports that the serial number is “already in use.”

I no longer have access to the old computer it was previously installed on, and my new system doesn’t have a CD drive. Could you please:
1. Reset the activations for my Lightroom 6 license so I can use it again.
2. Provide (if possible) a download link or method to reinstall Lightroom 6 on my new computer.

I’m not looking to upgrade — just to use the perpetual license I already own.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,

if you can't decativate on one of the computers that has an lr 6 activation, you can't restore an activation.  there's no work-around.

if purchased from or registered with adobe, check the account used to purchase or register for the download.

Well, if anyone has any clue how to deactivate, I'd be really interested to know

I still have access to the old machines. And I can still activate on the old machines using the offline activation method.

But I couldn't find any way to deactivate to "free" one slot on my perpetual licence...

is your old computer up to date with security fixes?

Adobe no longer resets perpetual license activations. As the activations are still showing as in use even if the computer is not in your possession, there is no way to determine whether or not that license is still being used. Your only option at this point would be to subscribe to the new photography plan which incluldes LR and PS.
