Lightroom 6 - deactivate on old PC and activate again on new PC didn't work

I purchased Lr6 some years ago and use it on my PC, be very happy with it, but need to change the PC now.

I installed it already but get the message while startup, that Lr is already activated on another PC.

In my Adobe account I couldn't see any device or product. So I couldn't deactivated it for the old registered PC.

What could I do ?

I had a private chat with a support team member and she forwards me to the community here (the intention was, that maybe someone from Adobe Genuine team could help)

It seems there is ONE way, and ONE way only that works with confidence!

@CMass (Adobe staff member) has been willing in the past to give Activation support for Lr, by Private Message, - as in her 'Correct Answer' at the very top of this long forum thread.

Note; That Lr is now not supported by Adobe. Many functions are slowly becoming non-functional (Maps, Person Identity, Cloud Syncing, etc)

If you can't deactivate a serial number you have to contact the Adobe support. Only they can reset the activation counter.
