trying to install lightroom 6 on macbook pro with OS 10.11 latest update. Install fails with message

Have lightroom 5 installed and used to have creative cloud installed but dropped renewal

Please Uninstall the Creative Cloud desktop app and remove Adobe Application Manager using cleaner-tool‌ and try to Install Photoshop Lightroom‌ from here. Let us know if this helps.
