lightroom 6 - serial problem

Hi,

I have lightroom 6 and want to install it on a new computer.

I've downloaded installation file and run it but when I put in the serial number it said that it's not valid for this version of lightroom.

Did you have such problem?

What should I do?

    Yes, Adam, you are currently installing Lightroom 6.  You have already entered your Lightroom 6 serial number so there is no need to enter it again. 

    Please enter the serial number for the full version of Lightroom that you are upgrading from.  You have several serial numbers registered under your account at http://www.adobe.com/ please use one of them, besides Lightroom 6, to complete the installation process.

    Ok. That was it. After typing serial of the previous version and restarting the computer everything's fine.

    That's what I get when I try to type in the serial number.

    I have the suite installer, I tried to install a trial version and only thing I get is this.

    I have downloaded a new installation file from adobe.com and was planning to transfer lr catalogs after the installation.

    Ok, thanks for the update, Adamw28160896, I would still recommend going through the steps listed in Error: "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Adobe Creative Suite .  Please update this public discussion if you have any questions.

    Adamw28160896, did you transfer any files to the new computer?  If the answer is yes, then see Error: "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Adobe Creative Suite for details on how to resolve the error.  Transferring Adobe applications, or files, can lead to no serial numbers being able to be accepted.

    I did review the Lightroom 6 upgrade serial number under your account and it is valid.  So it is very likely that the licensing files were damaged during the transfer process to the new computer.  Please update this public discussion if you have any questions regarding the steps listed in Error: "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Adobe Creative Suite .
