Lightroom 6 will not export to email and now also refuses to update, I need help

Up to now my Lightroom 6 has performed entirely satisfactorily on my Mac computer.

I came to it yesterday to export a few photos by email.  Although the sequence started it would not complete and failed everytime.

While checking through the details of my system I realised that I am still on Version 6:10:1.    I tried to update this with absolutely no success.

I really would be very grateful for advice that will solve my problem.

    Start here to get to 6.14.  Hope you didn’t update Mac OS.

    As you have mentioned you are unable to update your Lightroom 6 to the latest version, could you please let us know the error message that shows up when the update fails? You may share a screenshot of it as well: FAQ: How do I capture and post a screen shot or video?
