Lightroom CC and Creative Cloud Student plan on one account

I'm currently subscribed to the Lightroom CC plan (1TB). Additionally I now would like to subscribe to the Creative Cloud Student and Teacher plan (I'm  enrolled as a student). But trying to do so I'm told I either have to quit my current Lightroom CC subscription or use a different account for the Creative Cloud plan – which isn't convenient at all. Can't believe it's so needlessly complicated.

Is there any way to use just one account for the Lightroom CC plan as well as for the Creative Cloud plan for Students?
