Lightroom CC says "upgrade needed" even though I have the correct version of Windows

I'm trying to install Lightroom CC. I'm getting a message that says Please update your operating system to: Windows 10 (version 1703 or later). However I already have Windows 10, build version 17134 (see screenshot.)

I had this same problem with InDesign a while back. It refused to let me upgrade to 13 even though I had the required version of Windows. I finally quit trying, and some weeks later I got several updates to my Adobe products, including InDesign (it skipped 13 and went to 14.)

that's a build number, not version. the oct 2018 win 10 update is version 1809.

Thanks for explaining that! It seems I actually have Version 1803.

So shouldn't Lightroom CC be compatible?

Well this is strange, but as I was typing my last reply I got dinged with an update notification in Creative Cloud. It was for Lightroom CC, which updated and seems to be working fine.

I didn't do anything on my computer except look up the actual version number. No idea what's going on, but I'l take it!
