Lightroom CC won't run

Downloaded and installed Lightroom C via Creative Cloud.

Try to run software once installed via Creative cloud, via desktop shortcut and by double clicking the exe file on hard drive.  Nothing happens. Have rebooted computer several times.

Have tried Customer support but they're too busy to respond.

Any suggestions?

This roll-out has been a farce so far. <Frustrated!>

    CC applications close immediately after launch

    I did what you did - reinstall, reboot everything - but I still had to logout and log back in - amazing

    I have the same problem, reinstalled, rebooted, but no go. Windows 7 64bit. Gonna wait until this gets sorted out. BTW, all other updates worked just fine.

    That did not work. Now I have an empty Create Cloud window with none of my apps in it.

    did you possibly change language or any other setting related to your old installation?

    make sure you're on the "Apps" tab and not the "Home" tab as well.
