Lightroom Classic install from Photographers Plan

I am presently running LR5 on MacBook Pro using High Sierra. I have just purchased Creative Cloud on the Photographers Plan. I wish to install LR Classic whilst retaining my existing LR5 for the time-being. However I am expecting to find an Advanced Options screen to allow me to do this but it did not appear and the option went directly to install and when clicking on this the installation process started so I immediately aborted.

Does anyone know how I can bring up the Advanced Options screen a this point in the process?

Correct answer Abambo

The default is to keep the old versions. See here: Lightroom Classic CC 7.0.1 now available .

However, LR Classic 8 will convert your current catalog to a new one. Edits under that version can not be rolled back to Lr 5.7.

Thank you for your reply Abambo. I think I must have inadvertently missed the advanced options screen and gone straight to install as I did not see it. However, if the default is now to keep the old version i guess I can restart the installation process? I also notice CC Photoshop has no option for advanced options and just reads "Install" and I definitely did not skip a screen on this one as I have not tried to download yet (I wish to retain my version of Photoshop CS6).

CC has the habit to "take over" your perpetual licenses. In the case of a reversal (ie you cancel your subscription and go back to Lr 5.7 and Ps CS6, you need to uninstall all, clean-up (there is a program for that) and reinstall the CS6 package.

You can, however, with your plan install any version of the software from CS6 to current.
