Lightroom classic installer does not launch on MacBook Pro

I have Lightroom 5 on my mac and just subscribed for Lightroom Classic. However, the installer downloaded does not launch on my new Macbook Pro that run MacOS Catalina. What should I do?

Did you download & install the Creative Cloud desktop app yet?  You need that to manage your CC apps & services. See help article below.
