lightroom classic will not download. I click the download icon and... nothing.

You may NOT use the Opera browser... it is not compatible with Adobe
NOTE: the alternate download link in this link works better for some people
Install the cc desktop app using the download links at the bottom of this

If that works for you, you then use the Cloud manager to install your programs
