Lightroom, macbook too old, new macbook no dvd rom..... HELP!

Over 1 year ago i bought Lightroom on cd rom without realising that my Macbook was too old for it to run on it. So I've kept it till now unused...... Yesterday I bought a new MacBook Pro and wanted to install Lightroom but there is no DVD Rom drive!! So ... how can i install it? Is it possible to use the Serial Number to download the app online?     Download from Adobe - Lightroom : For Macintosh : Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1

    Install then enter your serial number when prompted.

    Thanks for your reply John. I did do this earlier, as it seemed the most logical way, but it would not accept the serial number!
