Lightroom (not CC) on dead computer - how to get to new computer

I hadt LR 6 installed on a desktop computer whose hard drive failed.  I've been told by repair shop they can rescue files, but not programs, to transfer to my new computer.  I already installed my second copy of LR on my laptop.  Is there any way I can gaet another copy of LR without buying a new one?

    Contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations.  That will recover the lost installation's activation for another use... but it will also deactivate the current installation so you will need to reactivate that afterwards.
