Lightroom Trial

I have been using Photoshop Elements 14, for almost a couple of years

I wanted to try Lightroom for the trial period. I downloaded the software, but when I try to use it a message pops up, "Trial period is over". If I can't get the trial, I will be happy to buy a month's worth of Lightroom 6/CC. If I like, it I plan on going on the monthly plan, How much is the Monthly Plan? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tom, which trial did you download?

If it was Lightroom 6/CC, then that's the previous (older) version from 2015.

Last month, Adobe released new versions of Lightroom 'Classic CC' (this is the traditional LR app but renamed), and an all-new reimagined Lightroom CC app.

All of these are desktop applications, and each version has its own trial period – so depending on which you did, you may have other trials available.

Also note with most CC apps, you can buy a single-app subscription for just a single month. But Lightroom CC (either Classic or the new one) is an exception; only annual plans are available for those.

Hope that helps further.

the most economical plan is the photographers plan for $10/mo that includes ps and lr, https://creative.adobe.com/plans

also, there's nothing easy (eg, you can reformat your hd, reinstall your os and then start a trial) that you can do to correct that on the problematic computer.  you can start a trial on another computer.

here's more info (that may or may not be helpful), https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/trial-software-expired-early.html
