Lightroom trial won't update to full product with purchased pack?

I had a (recently expired) lightroom trial installed on my laptop and was yet to export photos, so I didn't bother uninstalling. Instead I purchased the creative cloud photography plan pack online and yet when I attempt to open lightroom it still allows only the option to buy/enter serial code or continue trial (0 days remaining, and therefore can't develop etc.). How can I address this? Creative cloud says Lightroom is 'up to date' on my computer.
