Lightroom Update - Local Install vs. CC

Question

Hello,I purchased LR 6 as a local perpetual installation on my Win PC. I'm not so fond of cloud and subscription usage in general.When I click the update button, the Creative Cloud menu pops up and offers an update for Lightroom CC (2015).I am totally confused by this.a) What will be installed if click "update"?b) Does this update change my local/perpetual installation into a cloud installation?c) Does this change my perpetual LR6 installation to a subscription model?Who can help?Thanks

It wil update to Lightroom 6.5 (with last updates)

No

c) Does this change my perpetual LR6 installation to a subscription model?

No

I do agree the naming is a bit confusing, for more detail check : How to convert a Lightroom CC trial to Lightroom 6 it's the other way around but explains the dual splash screen the product has based on the license you have.
