Lightroom upgrade to 4.4 fails

Trying to install 64 bit version of Lightroom 4.4 from version 1.1. All other Adobe products, including Camera RAW, are up to date. I have attached the error message shown during the installation. I have searched the entire hard drive for the msi and the file is not found. I'm not sure why, the dialog box makes it appear as if it is looking for a network share. The best I can determine, the msi never actually extracts.

Such stuff points to permission issues on user folders, a busted previous install or a more general issue like the operating system not being supported. Since you didn't provide any system info or other details, nobody can advise beyond that.

Windows 7 with all latest service packs and patches

Install run as administrator

Install of 4.0 and 4.1 all completed without error

All other Adobe products as part of creative enterprise suite including camera RAW updated as of 4/27/13

Are you able to uninstall Lightroom 4.1 successfully?  If so you can then try installing Lightroom 4.4 directly as the update is installing a full copy of Lightroom 4.4.
