load pp cc into ramdisk

I want to know how to install the entire PP cc program onto my RAMDISK. Please do not reply with "you shouldn't do this that or the other" I am trying siomething out and the fact that Adobe has seen fit to restrict a users ability to choose how they configure their own computer means I have to try to find a workaround to stop the automatic install onto C drive and direct it to my 16 Gb RAMDISK - F drive.

So please assist with how to install direct to F drive, or move everything from C onto F.

Aha, thank you, at least you have this time answered my question at least partially adobe apps cannot be installed to a virtual drive or indeed to any other physical drive because Adobe has set the installer to not allow that. This is not a function of the hardware, but of the software configuration.  As I said the company denies me the right to use my computer my way. You could perhaps expand on what you mean by "provide proper system info" I would be interested to know what you mean by that please.

Win 8.1 Pro allows me to move most of my directories and still maintain the correct linkages and information to allow the system to function correctly. I currently install ALL of my programs to my mirrored storage space, ensuring redundancy in the event of disk failure and allowing me the size to not clog up the small ssd. (I have 120Gb SSD and two 3TB HDD) I come tfrom the Linux world for the last 10 yrs or so, and am used to having a lean clean system drive and the rest of programs & data on seperate partitions. Unfortunaley I have had to come back to windows because the best available program for my need is Adobe Premier Pro. I have no argument with the program just the install. When I left it up to the installers to install programs to the C drive, I maxed my SSD out in less than three weeks, and started getting significant system degradation. I did a clean reinstall, set everything up as I need it, and I have a blistering fast system now. With the exception of Adobe.

If there is truly no way fro me to move the installation off the C drive, then that sucks big time! Adobe gets a major thumbs down from me for that little bit of dictarial software engineering.

Bhakti108 you can customize the installation location for Premiere Pro CC in the Creative Cloud Desktop application.  You can find additional details at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.

Please be aware that there will be shared resources which will still get installed to the drive containing your operating system.

You can't install on virtual drives and that is that. The rest is just nonsense. You can choose an alternate install location in the CC settings and that is clearly documented. Beyond that shared components will always be installed on the system root drive, but that's nothing new as well.

Thanks for the reply. However you obviously don't know much about ROG Ramdisk - you can, and many people do, install programs and directories into a ramdisk. Using RAM in this way significantly speeds up the read and write activities of the rpogram. You could tell me all about the diffciculties but that is not what I asked and not what I need.

As to CC being able to be placed on other drives, pray tell me how -- there is no option in the Creative cloud desktop app to allow one to choose the place of installation. Indeed when one clicks on install the installation is fully automated. Again you don't know what your talking about.

If you have anything useful to say, rather than maligning a perfectly reasonable question, then by all means join in,if not please don't bother.

Of course I know what a RAM disk is - we used them all the time 20 years ago. Still, that doesn't change the fact that Adobe apps cannot be installed in any form on such a drive. If the install location can't be changed in your install of CC you have to provide proper system info. The rest is beside the point.
