Loadlibrary failed with error 87: the parameter is incorrect- can't open apps on new machine

Hi, 

Got a new computer this week and added creative cloud to download the apps I use. Unable to open any of them and get the message 'Loadlibrary failed with error 87: the parameter is incorrect'. I have spent days reading about it and trying different things. Can anyone help?

That MAY be a Microsoft problem... Go to the Search bar at the top of http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx to find and re-install the C runtime, or for ALL Windows help

Thanks. I did that but still not fixed. I also searched on the microsoft page for suggestions but nothing seems to be working. Any other ideas?
