[LOCKED] (Double posted) Where are the fonts?

Illustrator of all a sudden can not find my fonts.  Went into my C: Drive, and when I click on my Fonts folder, its saying there are no folders inside.  But when I right click on the folder, there 4.27GB of files and no folders.  How can I get my fonts back so that Illustrator and all the rest of my programs can get back access to my fonts?
