long time adobe encore user complaint
Yes, people still make DVD's (not my idea). And i know encore is not supported anymore.
When you ask someone on the adobe support/chat about the software, you simply get the answer that the software is not supported anymore. if you ask for just the download link, you get the same answer that the software is not supported anymore. if you ask for more information, you get the same answer that the software is not supported anymore. if you ask for advice what software you can use to achieve the same goals, you get the same answer that the software is not supported anymore. "i've read something about being able to download it with a "perpetual license", where can i buy that?", guess the answer...When you tell them that this is not "support", you get the answer that the software is not supported anymore.
It's insulting.
Even if it's not "supported" anymore, there are things you can do to make your customers satisfied. I'm by the way not just an encore user, i have the full/maximized cloud subscription since the beginning. And i think i started using adobe software since cs2.
Why doesn't adobe just "release" the software, maybe even remove the adobe logo's if you really don't want to put your name on it anymore, and put the 500MB software link somewhere on one of the billions of terabytes big servers of adobe with the message that it's not supported anymore. Or put it out in the open/give the licence to someone else, some dvd fanatic or whatever, so people can keep using the tools they once bought....supported/updates or not.. i don't care.
It's the least you can do.
