Looking for an adobe admin watcher to help initiate trial of Lr

Several years ago I tried a trial of Photoshop CC.   I canceled the subscription because, stil, even after taking some Photoshop classes at local tech school, Elements does what I need to do.  BTW.  I want to thank Adobe for such a really great product as Elements.

However.  Photographer friends have continued to try to persuade me that I need Lightroom.  So, I thought I would give it a try.  However, when I tried to download it, the Adobe server told me that my subscription had expired.

My question is can you reset it so I can give Lr a try?   Last time I had no interest in Lr and was only giving PS a trial run.

It seems Adobe should be open to allowing a trial after a year or so because many of we customers do realize later that we need things that we earlier said "no" to.

I still do not need the full Photoshop CC because Elements is such a capable tool and Adobe is to be congratulated for that.  However, I would like to see if Lr really will give me tools and results that I am not presently able to achieve.

Thank you.

Chuck

Correct answer kglad

there's nothing easy (eg, you can reformat your hd, reinstall your os and then start a trial) that you can do to correct that on the problematic computer.  you can start a trial on another computer.

here's more info (that may or may not be helpful), https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/trial-software-expired-early.html

That was hilarious.

And, thanks for the answer.

I guess I will continue to remain an anti subscription member of the resistance....although, don't think that I think that is hurting Adobe any.  I was really going to humble myself to give Lr another chance and Adobe blew it.

BTW.  Can you help me reinstall some apps after reformatting my HD?  Somewhere along the way I got some matting stuck on the refor area of the HD and nothing seems to work quite right.   Everything is R to L now.

Thanks.

CH

PS.  Does vinegar kill toe nail fungus?

if you reformat your hd, you can restart a trial.

if you corrupted your hd when trying to reformat it, that will need to be fixed before you can do anything.

p.s. vinegar kills nail fungus but it penetrates neither the nail matrix nor the nail itself, so like all topical treatments, there's very limited benefit to its use for that problem.
