Lost my trial of LR and all of my work. Can I get it back?

I'm in the middle of a trial with LR. While trying to set up my iPad, I forgot my password and had to reset. When I went back to my desktop I couldn't find LR or the Adobe Assistant. What the heck happened, I lost everything. I thought it was downloaded on my computer, can't find it in applications. Can I get my info back? And will this happen when (IF) I subscribe to CC??
