I have a new iMac, how can I get my Lightroom 5 on my new iMac? I have my registration number, but I cannot remember the email I used back then. What can I do to reinstall the my LR?

Pretty sure Lightroom 5 uses a 32 bit installer, so it won't install on your new iMac because Apple deprecated the running of 32 bit apps since macOS Catalina 10.15

Bottom line, you can't install LR5, it is no longer supported on any computer anyway, your best bet is a subscription to the current Lightroom Classic or Desktop.

Hmm. According to this article on the Lightroom Queen, both LR5 and LR6 have 32 bit installers.

Lightroom and macOS Catalina 10.15 Compatibility | The Lightroom Queen

The article says that the only way to run versions 5 and 6 on a Mac is if they were pre-installed prior to Catalina. That obviously does not apply to new Macs which come preinstalled with Sonoma.

I suspect the OP will need to subscribe to a Cloud plan to install both Lightroom and Lightroom Classic.

If you have a disc put it in the drive and enter your serial number during the install

That is IF that very old version will even install on a new Mac

If you do not have a disc, and you did not save your download installer, try this

Go here for SOME older links https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-direct-download-links.html
Prodesigntools is an official Adobe partner, and the links go to Adobe, not a 3rd party site

Thanks John. I do have the disk, my old iMac 2011 did have a disk drive and still has LR working. But the new iMAC does not have a disk drive. I thought you would be able to download the LR app and fill in the registration key, but that does not seem to be the case. The link in the prodesigntool bring me to the current Adobe environment and require me to buy a subscription. No where to activate my current LR 5.
