LR not downloading

Question

After nearly 2Hrs on the phone ...spoke to 5 differernt people ... round in circles !, finally got Adobe to accept my purchase of stand-alone upgrade for LR 6 ....

Email arrived minutes later along with link in the 'My downloads' section.

However it does not download anything.

I click on it .... all I get is notification that it is is 'in place' in my download folder, but nothing downloads.

Internet connect is fine ........ but after several attempts - still nothing downloading from Adobe.
