Hi Guys,

I'm new to forum and indeed digital photography (lapsed film guys from 30 years ago). I'm looking to purchase LR4 but as I use variously both Mac and PC do I need to purchase a separate version for each or is the one version able to be used to install on both Mac and PC. Also, I'd like to install across 3 systems (Mac desktop and laptop, Windows laptop) - again will the one package allow install on several systems.

Thanks for any guidance

LR is cross-platform. However, each Adobe software can only be activated on 2 systems, so if you need a 3rd activation, you'll have to buy a second license.

Thanks Mylenium .... max of two is restricting but not a big issue. I'll probably install on my Mac and Windows laptops as they are the ones I use most. Appreciate the quick response.

LR4 is sold as multiplatform software, which means it can be installed on either Mac OS X or Windows.  Subject to the terms of the software license agreement, the primary user of the computer on which Lightroom is installed may install a second copy of the software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable computer or a home computer, provided that the software is not used on both computers at the same time.   For more info. on Lightroom, please take a look at the product page and the FAQs at http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom.html.
