Mac 10.7.5 Creative Cloud safari can’t open page

Hi All,

trying to download cc onto an older Mac, primarily to access an older version on LR. Whichever route I take to various download areas within the adobe website I get "safari cannot open this page (then whatever url) because safari cannot etablish a secure connection to server ccmdl.adobe.com. I'm extremely non-tech savvy

    I moved your post over from the poorly named Community Help forum, which is for getting help using this forum system, to a better forum.

     

    Is that OS X 10.7.5 Lion? If it is then AFAIK you can't run any CC version of LR on that Mac OS. You can possibly run LR 4, 5 or possibly 6 on it but not any version of the Creative Cloud Desktop App. Even If at one time the CC DTA would install on OS X 10.7.x it was an OLDER version of the CC DTA and that is not longer available in any form.

    To install those older version of LR you would need either the most current updated version as a Download or have the physical CD/DVD to install the program and HOPE you could update it through the program to the most current point release version for that Major version. But IIRC Adobe has removed all update downloads for older version of 99 (if not 100) percent of there software.
