Question

Mac Book Pro to install Creator Cloud?

Hi there,

my daughter starts studying digital design by this month. She has to have a new laptop with the Creator Cloud programmes. The actual Mac Book Pro (2019) costs too much money. I read an offer of the 15'' Mac Book Pro from 2015 for less than half of that price. My question. What are the minimum ressources a Mac Book Pro should have that the Creator Cloud programmes for students will run without problems?

The Mac Book Pro from 2015 hat the following ressources:

processor: 2,5GHz Core Intel i7 with L3- Cache

16GB RAM

256GB SSD

Graphic: Intel IRIS Pro Graphics (2,5 GHz) with Radeon M370X with 2GB Graphic store

Does this ressource fit the Creator Cloud Programme ressources? The Max Book was produced in 2015. Does a 4 years old Mac Book still fit the requirements you need to use these programmes without problems??

Let me know, please. I need an urgent reply.

Reinhard

Do you think that will work out for the Adobe Creator Cloud? It is German but the important specs are similar to English. The Mac Book was built in 2014.

The system requirements need a certain amount of RAM and so forth but they also need a particular operating system version, like Mac OS 10.12 or whatever. So the age of the Macbook isn't the thing, the question is - can it run a suitable system. Check the system requirements for EACH app you want in Creative Cloud (each one is different!) Then check whether the Macbook does or can run a suitable system.  Please bear in mind that Creative Cloud is also available for Windows.
