Mac OSX 10.11 ---Prior to joining CC photography I had already installed Light Room 6. Now that I have joined CC I noticed I still appear to have my original LR6 installed. Is it safe to uninstall the non CC version?

Not sure what happened ... but ... this AM updated LR CC to 2015.2.1 and I now have one folder named "Adobe Lightroom".  In that folder is an app named "Adobe Lightroom" that is showing Date Modified as Apr 26,2015, 11:41AM.

When I launch that app I & get info ... "Photoshop Light Room CC Release 2015.2.1".  Don't see any other folders any other folder with "Lightroom in the name".  What I do find interesting is that the PS folder is named "Adobe Photoshop CC 2015".

So basically things are working OK but the naming convention seems a little different.  I am reverting to "if it ain't broke ... don't fix it".

Thanks,

Norm

You may able to convert Lightroom 6 to Lightroom CC 2015.
Make sure Creative Cloud Desktop App is installed.

Then launch Lightroom 6 and Click on Help > Sign out.

Then Sign in back with your Adobe ID.

Let me know if it works.
