I have a Mac with OS X 10.7.5 and will not let me install the lightroom , giving this error :

You are using an operating system that is no longer compatible with Lightroom. See System Requirements for a complete list of supported platforms.

I tried to update the software but does not update me more and still giving me the error. What can I do?

Thanks,Cris.

That's great!  If you wish you may also contact Apple Support regarding upgrading OS. They will certainly check and assist you accordingly.

Not only just Lightroom cc /  6  , almost all CC 2015 Apps like Photoshop CC 2015  , Illustrator CC 2015.....etc requires minimum Mac OS X 10.9 .

It is ideal  to Upgrade to Yosemite . Time to say good bye to Lion and say Hello to Yosemite lol .

Hi Cris,

You Probably need to upgrade your OS first :

  1. Find out if your Mac can run OS X Yosemite.
  2. Back up your Mac.
  3. Get OS X Yosemite from the Mac App Store.
  4. Double-click Install OS X Yosemite to begin installation.

Regards,

Rahul
