Pixofu01 where are you downloading the installation files for Illustrator CS6 from?

    Hi Jeff,

The files have already been downloaded. Here is the situation… I work for a huge global company and this program is for a work laptop. The program was originally requested from the “software procurement” department, but there was a problem retrieving the program. The software procurement department copied the files to a DVD and sent it to me. The AI program file transferred fine, but the file I listed transferred but had an error once it finished the transfer. I contacted the software procurement department and our not so helpful “help desk” and they concluded it was not the software or how they sent it to me, but it was was a problem with the brand new $2000 Macbook Pro. Haha This is why I was reaching out to see if I could resolve the problem myself.

I hope that all makes sense.

Thank you in advance for any help,

    Brian

Ok thank you for the update Brian.  It is likely the installation files you will need are located at https://licensing.adobe.com/.  There will be individuals within your organization who should have the necessary access to login and download the installation files.  You can utilize the password reset process if you feel that you would be included in that list.  You can find more details on how to resolve access issues at Troubleshoot LWS account access issues.

As an alternative you can download the installation files from Download CS6 products.  These are the retail installation files so depending upon the license your organization acquired the serial number may not be accepted.
