Good Night,

I'm new in the editing world and i'm about to make some changes in my hardware, but at the moment my budget is low and i'm here to ask if this configuration of a Macbook ( Macbook Air Intel Core i5 8GB 128GB macOS Sierra) is suficient to start to work with Photoshop and Lightroom. As my business grow, i'll upgrade for a more powerfull machine. I can go a little higher to a 13,3" but that it.

Is it worth the risk? This machine will be only for business.

Thanks for the help!

    Hi @Manoel Neto0D4D,

Very sorry for the late reply.

Please ensure your computer meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements to run Creative Cloud + OS + all other apps you use. Check each one.

Pay particular attention to Photoshop's new GPU requirements. See links below.

It's an old post... because this is a forum nobody ever visits. Sierra will not cut it, won't run current apps. Also 128GB is barely enough to install and run Photoshop, even if you save no work! This is an entry level disk size, not suitable for real work.
