MacBookPro crashed -how can I deactivate Elements - chat says it is closed.

To get Adobe to help I tried to enter Chat, which says it is open Monday—Friday, 9am—5pm GMT, but a 1130 GMT on Monday it says it is closed. I had Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 installed on my MacBookPro which crashed and cannot be repaired.  How can I deactivate its licence on that computer and reactivate it in my Mac Mini?

Thanks for that. The problem was that chat was closed, even though it is within the times it should be open. But now it has come on again, so I'm trying to ask chat  for help.

Hi Gordon,

  • Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet.
  • Start the application.
  • Choose Help > Sign Out (Your Adobe ID).
  • Click Sign Out.

Later, You can sign back in on your Mac Mini with your Adobe ID.

Regards,
Rahul

Thanks for the very quick response, but I don't understand. I said my MacBookPro has crashed, and it cannot be repaired, so I can't even start it. let alone open the application and go onto the internet.  I'm currently writing this from my Mac Mini, which is where I want to licence the Elements application.
