macOS High Sierra (10.13) compatibility with photoshop cs6: visual troubles

Hello,

I just installed a trial of Photoshop CS6 on my mac os high sierra 10.13.4.

During the installation I had the common message of NOT compatibility of the software with the system (as for the 64bit issue).

But I read from your link: Creative Cloud Help | macOS High Sierra (10.13) compatibility FAQ | Creative Cloud that the application should run as normal.

On the contrary, I have a really problematic visual problem: the images are pixelated once I open them in photoshop while they are perfectly fine with preview.

Also the rest of the workspace, toolbars, text and etc are pixelated.

I do photo retouching and I cannot work with this bug.

I hope you can help me solve this asap.

Thank you

Lara

(I would love to send you a screen shot to show my problem but apparently no image is allowed to be attached by this website)

There is much more to compatibilty than being 32 bit. Please read system requirements carefully. Apple make major changes with every new Mac OS and buying new apps each time is part of the joy of having a Mac !

If you want to keep running the ancient excellent software you need to freeze on a much older system and cannot use a new Mac.

In Germany the standard Photographer plan is 11,98 Euros per month. If this is not in your budget and you want to run up to date Mac, consider Photoshop Elements or look for non-Adobe software not aimed at the professional.

All right, thank you for this hint.

I guess I will have to stick with the CC.

You cannot buy CS6 any more so this is not the right thing to install as a trial. It is many years old and High Sierra is not a supported system. There have been five new versions since then, you now subscribe to CC2018, from $10 per month (yearly contract) with all upgrades included.

    Thank you for you answer.

I understand the point, but the link says that 32bit apps are still compatible with high sierra 10.13 so I don't understand why it gives me problems. You say it is not supported but the link says otherwise. Plus I have an old version of photoshop CS3 that I would like to use (sorry the new versions are not good for me)

Also the app is not $10 per month, it is 23,99 euro (I am in Europe) per month to have photoshop CC.
