I see few debates about the optimization for MacOS and Windows 10 from several forums. Does OS really matter for Adobe CC? I know that Windows 10 perform better since PC can have better CPU cooler while Mac does not base on several tests but I really want to know if OS optimization matter for Adobe CC softwares especially Premier Pro and After Effect.
I'm speculating here, but I think that the OS is not the performance problem neither in MacOS nor with a Windows PC. Especially for Premiere Pro I found the GPU being a valuable asset. I also think that the big screen sizes put a toll on the performance and that it is there very important to have a good and performing GPU.
My really unqualified thoughts on this are that I would prefer a MacOS Laptop, because it is a well thought and balanced machine. As for a desktop system, I think that Apple lags behind and that you will get better performing machines for Windows OS for your cash.
This is however problematic if you need to work in a mixed environment. Therefore my laptop is a Windows OS machine.
