Hi there, I have a CC licence and this has been working fine on both my desktop and my laptop. The laptop was stollen and I have now purchased a new one

I need to de activate the CC on the stolen laptop and activate it on the new one and I am either very tired or I can not see how to do this when I log on to my Adobe account

Thank you so much and yes I think I'm getting there!

The issue seems to be that I don't have any devices registered, so the app knows I was using on 2 devices, but I realy need to sign of the stolen lap top and not my desk top ...any clues here ?

using your new laptop's cc app: sign out from your stolen laptop and your desktop

then sign in on your desktop

result:  exactly what you want.

Thanks for your help , but I am somehow not llowed to do this as per your explaantion above

I have the CC lincence payed until Jan 2018 ( and I think I can use this CC on up to 2 machines)

I instaled on 2 machines when I bought, I thinkm, for sure my desktop and my laptop ..The laptop was stollen so I've just purchased a new one.

I need to instal on the new machine and adobe is not offering much help on how to do this ...I am going a little stir crazy

just install the desktop app from here https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud on your new (and 3rd) computer.

when you sign in on that 3rd computer you will be prompted to sign out from the other two; do so and the stolen laptop will no longer be able to start adobe programs (unless they guess/find your password).

you can install on an unlimited number of computers.  the only (insignificant for internet connected computers) limitation is you can sign-in on, at most, two computers at any one time (which is why you'll be prompted to sign your other computer's out when you sign in on that 3rd computer).

you can do it from your account but you can also do it when signing-in on a third computer: you're give the option to sign out from the other two computers.

from your account overview page, click manage plan

then locate the devices you want to deactivate:
