How compatible is the newly announced Macbook M1 Max chip with Adobe programs?

I am a design expert and I need to work by opening several Adobe programs at the same time. I'm using a 2019 model intel chip Macbook Pro. I must say that my Macbook device, which I bought with big dreams, was a complete disappointment for me in terms of Adobe programs. I ran into problems that I never expected, such as freezes, crashes, slow render times. There is no problem with my computer, other devices of the same model that we bought to the company have the same problem.

For these reasons, although the new M1 chip is said to be fast, if there is a problem with compatibility with Adobe programs, it will still be a waste of investment and I am worried about it. If someone who actively uses the M1 Max chip with Adobe programs can write a detailed comment about the performance, I would be very happy.

I especially need information about Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator programs.

I just went through over an hour support chat, in which they stressed that Photoshop Elements will not run on an M1 Mac. So they returned the software. Photoshop, yes, Elements, no. Thanks anyway.

I'm having the same problems with compatibility of Adobe programs using the M1 chip. I would not recommend purchasing the M1 chip for editing video using Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects. It is incredibly buggy, the projects do not load, and the programs crash and do not open and projects will not export. I am using dynamic link to edit greenscreen footage in After Effects from Premiere Pro and I cannot export my finished project. Exporting projects through Premiere Pro and Media Encoder both fail, the project exports for about an hour or two and then just freezes and stalls and 12 hours later there is still no progress.

 

I am currently speaking with Adobe since the 3rd February. The only solution so far is that I supply Adobe with my project files so they can export the files using an Intel chip computer.

 

Do not buy the new Macbook Pro with the M1 chip for video editing. It is not worth the stress of trying to get it to work.

    I just downloaded Photoshop Elements 2022 for my MacBook Pro M1 Max. The installation works to launch the Elements Organizer, but Elements just bounces away for minutes and then nothing. There is no option to "Open with Rosetta" bin the get info, because it is supposed to run natively. Latest software, because I downloaded today.
