Migrating adobe 13 to my new IMac 2024

I have just bought a new iMac 2024 and had adobe elements 13 ( bought as a one off payment) on my previous iMac (2011). Despite a migration across,  the adobe didn't transfer. I don't want to buy a new elements subscription as all I need is the basic 13, I was used to. I now have thousands of photos on my new computer from my EOS camera which cannot be opened in Apple photos, so need either my old application ( which I doubt I can get) or something other than the latest Elements, which isn't cheap. Any advice please? Thankyou

That version is too old to work on the new Apple architecture. You will need to buy a new version of PS Elements to continue using as others have said. But you mention that Apple Photos doesn't support your photos. Apple Photos supports many different photo formats including raw formats ( https://support.apple.com/en-us/120534 ). What Canon camera are you trying to support and what format are those images?

I'll save you some time & trouble.  You need new software.

Apple does not do a good job of maintaining backward compatibility... I VERY seriously doubt that your version 13 will install on a new Mac

properly install on a compatible computer using your installation file(s) and serial number.
