Misleading sales tactics

I took out a trial for photoshop and after effects.

Upon trying to cancel the account I am unable to do so unless I pay over £80 in cancellation fees for each programme???

I did not sign up for a yearly subscription yet the customer service rep I spoke to says I did?

I was in the free trial stage of this.

I am appalled and shocked.

I request a cancellation of both these products with zero payment from myself. I have not signed up for any yearly subscriptions!!!

After 7 days, a trial reverts to a paid plan unless you cancel it.   Please log-in to your Adobe Account below to see exactly what and when you ordered.

If you cancelled within the 14 day grace period, there is no  cancellation fee.  Contact Adobe Customer Care via online chat and show them your cancellation e-mail.

    When did you order?

    When did you cancel?

Did you receive e-mail confirmation that you cancelled?

    I did cancel it!

Then it offered me to have 3 free months. Which I decided to take but it did not say it would automatically turn into a yearly subscription!!

I can't even change the plan to a monthly and cancel it that way.

I cannot at all afford this £40 per month on programs I'm not using.

It was entirely misleading and frankly wrong!

What can we do to rectify this?

It means that you have a free period of 3 months, but this does not mean that you have extended your free trial. Can you continue to use it for 3 months during the annual contract period? This is an example of a cancellation fee.
However, if you say that the explanation was insufficient, it can be said that Adobe also has non-existence, so why not check with support again. (100% guarantee is not possible)
