Missing DMG file for MAC download of Elements11

Purchased and downloaded Photoshop Elements11...file for download said it was for Mac/Windows.  I am running Mac OS (10.7.5).  Downloaded two files (one is a .exe file the other a .7z file).  No DMG file (typical max install file name is present) to complete the install.  Attempting to click either of the 2 files does not work (get an error message on the .exe and asks for an application to open the .7z file.....assume that is because those are Windows file formats).

Need some assistance on where to go now.

Download the trial version for Premiere Elements 11 from here: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=premiere_elements&loc=us (the site automatically detects the platform you are on) and once you've downloaded the file run the installer and enter the serial number when prompted.

    Two clarifications:

1.)  I purchased the software, it is not a trial version.

2.)  The software in question is Photoshop Elements 11, not Premier Elements 11 (the latter I think is video editing software, which is not what I have).

Again, my issue is that from the software download - regardless of whether I use the Akami Download manager or the alternate download method, it is not downloading the dmg version of the software which is necessary for Mac, which I am on.

Please advide correct next steps to allow me to successfully download this purchase.

    Thanks,

doug...i am getting the same problem.  i am going to download the trial version and then convert to the full.  i will let you know if this works.  i think even though she references the "premium" version i think it will work for the normal version as well.

In case you are still facing issues downloading the software from the site mentioned above(Photshop Elements trial available here), you download the trial version from here(read the important notes mentioned before you start downloading).
