mixing old apps from Master collection 3 with new 5.5 production premium

the apps from the master collection 3 which are not included in the production premium 5.5, like indesign will not open.

can I reinstall them with out compromising my new 5.5 apps which I need for my business. I do have a new computer

and I'm sure I deacatvated the master colection 3 before moving them from the old computer.

    Rpancrazi what version of InDesign are you receiving the message the Licensing for this product has stopped working?  You should be able to to try the solutions listed in Error "Licensing has stopped working" | Mac OS to resolve your difficulties.  Please feel free to respond to this thread if you have any questions regarding the steps listed within the document.


    started on the solutions listed in the page you suggested. where a box for on line chat popped up and I got help. after removing three folder from adobe app support all was well. those folders were PCD/cache, backup and caps. Thanks for your help.

    You should be ok as long as they aren't an older version of the same program.  The worst which might happen is your file associations might need adjusting.
