No clue how to uninstall Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro from my laptop (windows 7) and move it to my PC (windows 8). Also currently reader takes over my screen and I need to work with multiple windows open at the same time.

open acrobat 9>click help>deactivate.  you can then uninstall using the windows uninstaller.

then install on your win 8 pc.

if you need the install files and if you follow all 7 steps you can dl a trial here:  http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html

and activate with your serial.

if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps.  the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

I found acrbat X on downloads page 2, but even that leads to Acrobat XI pro download (trial version), but no 9 pro. Are they the same?
