hello.

i recently asked a question on how to find a serial number for a cs5 program that i have and it was answered and i have found it.. but now my question is about installing the program onto my new computer... i see on my old computer in the program i can deactivate the serial number.. i want to be sure before i do that that the serial number will work on my new computer because i need the program.. any help will be greatly appreciated

    Your license allows you to have two activated installations.  If the other computer is the only one that currently is activated then you do not need to deactivate it right away (or ever).  You can install on the second computer and activate it there too.  That way you can confirm it works on the second machine without affecting the original installation.

    What about if I want to deactivate the software, in order to reinstall Windows? It isn't working for a few deys already, because the activation server is down. I don't know what to do, I can't use my computer for days but I do not want to waste one of my licenses.

    Your license will not be wasted.  You are not limited to two installatins in your lifetime, you can reuse the license over and over again as needed.  You can always deactivate som other time.
