Moving photoshop CS5 (student) to new computer (can't access activation code)

Hi there,

I have photoshop CS5 installed on two computers. One of these has broken so I was hoping to install it on my new laptop. However, because the old PC is now broken I cannot be deactivate it. In addition, I have no idea what the activation code was (I think I received it via email but that account is now closed down due to hacking). Can anyone help with this? I might be able to retrieve the activation code from my other PC but don't know how. However this doesn't resolve the issue of it already be activated on two computers.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Best wishes

Matt

Check your Adobe account online: https://www.adobe.com/account.html

If you registered your product then the serial number might be available in your Plans and Products section.

Also see: Find your serial number

Another option would be to try to use a key finder tool...

If it's a Windows machine then try running Belarc Advisor

For a Mac you can try:

As far as getting the installation deactivated, you can contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations.  You will need the serial number for this and do not get off topic or they are likely to send you back to the forums without helping.

Chat support - For the link below click the Still Need Help? option in the blue area at the bottom and choose the chat option...
