Multiple apps crashing on start up - Windows 7

Hi there,

I'm running into issues with Photoshop, Media encoder, Illustrator and After effects all crashing on start up despite trying installs, cleaning and updates.

Adobe Media Encoder says "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application".  I manage to get it working by disabling my NVidia Graphics card but that is a pain when going back and forth between AE and ME.

Photoshop gets to "initializing panels" in the startup, my taskbar flickers and then I get a crash report screen.  I found a file called "PhotoshopPrefsManager-20180530-152233" in my Adobe folder on my Documents which reads: 

2018-05-30 15:22:33 : ----------- Starting Prefs Migration:  Adobe Phtotoshop CC 2018 Build 9  [2018\05\30 at 15:22:33] -----------

2018-05-30 15:22:33 : Migration is not needed per parameter.  Quitting

Guess that's why its stopping but can anyone explain this?

Illustrator splash appears and then closes without notification of any kind and After Effects does the same.  I've resorted back to an earlier version for AE which seems to help but why pay adobe the monthly fee is my software is outdated or flat just not working.

Any suggestions are much appreciated but Im not a techy person at all so explain everything even if you think its obvious...pretend Im your nan.

I'm running HP ZBook, windows 7, 64 bit, 16GB RAM, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU and Nvidia M1000M graphics card.
